Another Kimbo Loss-What happened Kimbo?

Kimbo Slice started off his career as street brawler who won every fight he entered. A Kimbo loss was unheard of early in his career and many could not say they have seen the street legend loose a bout. Now that Kimbo has entered the world of MMA Slice has struggled to adapt to the level of competition that he has to face in the octagon. Kimbo was accustomed to knocking his opponents out within minutes of stepping in the ring but in the octagon Kimbo was facing world class athletes which caused this street brawler to have enormous problems.

I have to admit that I was one of Kimbo's biggest fans and loved watching him knock out random opponents in the streets of Miami. I wanted Kimbo to be the next big thing in mixed martial arts but soon realized that Kimbo had no real experience in MMA and also was fighting against time. When Slice began fighting in MMA he had some success but soon began to get exposed of the lack of experience in the octagon. I soon began to see Kimbo barley beat guys he should be destroying within the first round. I continued to stand behind Kimbo even through his dismal performances in his short MMA career but the Kimbo losses soon came. Kimbo would be the headliner for a main event and the result would be another Kimbo loss. I soon began to loose hope for Kimbo and was disappointed in the effort that Slice put out in his fights.

The owner of the UFC Dana White also saw something in Kimbo and allowed him to participate in the new Ultimate Fighter show. Kimbo was given the opportunity to earn his way in
the UFC and failed miserably in accomplishing something in his mixed martial arts career. In Kimbo's first fight on the show he had a chance to silence the critics but all we got was another Kimbo loss.
